Since establishing our first Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Binh Duong province in 1996, we have built VSIP into an award-winning model for integrated townships and industrial parks with a growing presence across Vietnam.
Each of our 18 VSIPs, which are located across Vietnam’s three economic corridors, is designed to capitalise on its location’s strategic advantages, from the south’s commercial hub, to the labour-abundant central region, to the north’s strengths in higher-value manufacturing activities.
Northern Vietnam
VSIPs in the north support higher-value manufacturing activities with geographic proximity to key investing markets like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and southwest China.
Central Vietnam
VSIP is active in the central highlands where populous regions provide vital human resources for labour-intensive manufacturing operations in special economic zones.
Southern Vietnam
This region is where the country’s commercial hub is sited and is situated closest to Vietnam's Southeast Asian neighbours.
Within our VSIPs, we also offer factories with modular designs for quick start-up, for lease or sale. The factories are installed with rooftop solar to generate clean energy and lower the tenants’ carbon footprint.

Rooftop solar
To support VSIP tenants in their solarisation journey, Sembcorp established Vietnam Singapore Smart Energy Solutions (VSSES) to ensure solar energy is accessible, affordable and stable for the manufacturers. VSSES builds, owns, operates and maintains the grid-tied photovoltaic installations on the rooftops of our tenants’ facilities.
Path to net zero emissions
We support manufacturers on their path to net-zero emissions by facilitating their access to Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon credits from GoNetZero™, Sembcorp’s carbon management business.
