Closed-Loop Partners Network

SembWaste launched the Closed-Loop Partners Network to boost industry partnerships to drive a circular economy in support of Singapore’s goal of zero waste. The network aims to bridge the supply and demand gap for recycled feedstock in Singapore.

For Partners

This platform will break down silos among recycling service providers and connect like-minded partners in the journey towards circularity. By joining this network, recycling service providers commits to collective standards of material handling and will be able to gain access to market insights, infrastructure support, and engagement with key industry stakeholders.

For Customers

Through this network, we want to provide our customers with the assurance of responsible recycling with measurable impact over time. Customers who entrust us with handling their recyclables will be able to tap on our sustainable waste management solutions to analyse their data, develop a long-term resource recovery roadmap and most importantly, how their recyclables are managed. Over time, we hope to increase recycling rates and the supply of recycled feedstock.

Any recycling service provider with a valid business and/or operational license issued by the local authorities are welcomed to join the network. For example, recyclers with operational facilities in Singapore are required to possess a valid General Waste Disposal Facilities (GWDFs) license during application and the partnership period.

Service providers who would like to join the network will have to commit to collective standards of material handling, ensuring responsible recycling practices throughout the value chain. For more information, please write to [email protected].

From the time of registration, it takes approximately four weeks for the entire process to be completed. Licensed recycling service providers who are interested to join the network will have to prepare information such as licenses to operate and technical information on recycling processes, recyclable waste feedstock and recyclable products generated. Upon successful verification, including physical site validation, licensed recycling service providers will be listed on our website as one of our partners in the network.

By joining this network, recycling service providers commit to collective standards of material handling and will be able to gain access to market insights, infrastructure support, and engagement with key industry stakeholders.

The participation in the network has an effective period of two years from the time of successful application. To renew participation in the network, licensed recycling service providers will need to reapply. Renewal application may be submitted up to two months before your current partnership expiry date.
