July 24, 2024

Sembcorp Energy Insights 2024 - Event Highlights Video

On 3rd July, we hosted our inaugural thought leadership forum - Sembcorp Energy Insights 2024 in Singapore. The event brought together a distinguished group of industry and government leaders from diverse fields under one roof, fostering a dialogue on the shift towards sustainable energy.

In his keynote address, Mr Keith Tan, Deputy Secretary (Industry and Energy & Carbon) at the Ministry of Trade and Industry set the tone for an insightful discourse on the energy transition journey. He highlighted that despite our progress, the journey has just started and there will be a lot more navigation and path-finding in this process. This is the case not just for Singapore, but also for the rest of the world. As such, a close collaboration between companies and the need for a strong private-public partnership is required to make energy transition work.

Mr Keith Tan, Deputy Secretary (Industry and Energy & Carbon) at the Ministry of Trade and Industry: “The journey towards a net-zero future is complex and challenging, but the Government is committed to work closely with companies to navigate the energy transition.”
