The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a widely accepted framework that aims to achieve measurable goals to ensure peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.

Adopted in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the scale and ambition of the SDGs mean they can only be achieved through the collective efforts of governments, organisations, and society.

Our expertise, track record and network in energy, water and urban development allow us to play a direct role in promoting sustainable development. In line with our sectoral expertise and business strategy, we are focused on making meaningful contributions towards SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
