Since the incorporation of Sembcorp Green Infra Limited (SGIL) more than 15 years ago, we have transformed our portfolio in India and achieved significant milestones. We started our solar journey in 2008 and commissioned India’s first Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) auction wind project in 2018. In January 2023 and February 2024, we successfully acquired independent power producers Vector Green and Leap Green Energy respectively, seamlessly integrating these assets into our portfolio to enhance our operations and drive organic growth. In December 2024, we entered the battery energy storage market in India with our first solar-energy storage hybrid project win.
As India continues progressing towards its economic and sustainability goals, we are committed to expanding our renewables portfolio to support one of the fastest growing renewables markets in the world.
