Signing Joint Development Study Agreement with PT PLN (Persero) during Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW)

Sembcorp and PT PLN (Persero) signed a joint study agreement to explore green hydrogen production in Indonesia for export to Singapore. This collaboration has the potential to establish Indonesia's inaugural green hydrogen export to Singapore, with an estimated annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes using renewable energy sources. The agreement, witnessed by officials from both nations, demonstrates a shared commitment to energy transition and decarbonisation. Together, we aim to co-develop a viable low-carbon hydrogen supply chain in ASEAN, enhancing energy source diversification for both countries.
